My name is Corrine Rondeau and I have lived in Ward G for more than 2 decades. I attended Edmonton Public School and the University of Alberta. My husband and I have raised our 2 children in Ward G, setting an example of service and contribution to community.
I’ve seen firsthand how decisions made by the EPSB have directly impacted my own children‘s lives. My kids have been fortunate to go to some great schools in Edmonton with many great teachers. Even so, getting their basic education needs met was a struggle.

My dedication extends beyond my family to the broader community. I believe that a strong school board is built on strong community ties, and I have actively contributed to various organizations, bringing a wealth of experience and a curious mind.
Graduated from the University of Alberta with a focus on History, Education and French Language. This is where I gained understanding of the foundations and establishment of the education system in Alberta and the many stories that contributed to the country we live in.
Active member and attendee of numerous educational conferences. Shaping school level decisions and advocating for student needs at School Council where I was able to hear directly from principals and teachers what was happening at the school board level and get connected with other involved parents.
Served as President and Facilities Director for my Community League, fostering local growth, organizing events, and engaging residents in community initiatives. Grounds Development Project -multi-year project of consultation, fundraising, design and construction of spray deck, grounds re-development and community hall upgrades.
Led a multi-year community grounds development project, and co-chaired a school playground initiative. This included working with various levels of government during consultation, fundraising, design, and final construction.
Initiated and built a successful community playgroup program, providing vital social connection for young children and their caregivers in the local community.
Volunteered as an English conversation teacher for seniors in the Vietnamese community, building bridges across cultures and supporting integration through education. Volunteer for YESS (Youth Emergency Shelter Society) that connected young people with safety.
